All course registrations must be completed in person at Calibers. Participants are required to present a valid driver’s license and payment upon registration. Upon registration, each participant will receive a training manual and a 3-month membership to Calibers. Membership grants unlimited range usage at no additional charge. Registrants also receive individual coaching if needed. All of this is included in the $125 Concealed Carry membership fee. New shooters at Calibers must watch a 10-minute range rule and safety video.

We recommend completing the shooting qualification prior to the course date to receive the certificate of completion on the course date. The shooting qualification can be completed during normal business hours, even on the day of signup.

Qualification entails firing thirty rounds of ammunition at a B-27 full-size silhouette target at a maximum distance of 7 yards. 21 or more rounds must land in the 7 ring or better. Qualification cannot be completed on the day of the course. Firearms are not to be brought to the class; participants should only bring their training manual and a pen.

Participants may use their own firearm and ammunition or rent a handgun from Calibers and purchase ammunition. Gun rentals cost $10, with ammunition prices ranging from $5 to $40 for 50 rounds.

Two true/false open-book exams are administered on the covered material. Attendees receive individual instruction on correct answers. Upon completion of the class, certificates are distributed, and details of the application process are explained.
